But I’ve having a bit of a problem with this idea of keeping to a “New Years resolution”. My resolutions are more of goals-that-just-need-to-happen. So, instead of calling them resolutions, I’m gonna call them promises to myself.

In 2021, I promise to get healthier (both physically and mentally) and to be patient with myself and the curveballs that life throws. If there’s anything that 2020 taught me, it’s that life happens whether you plan accordingly or not, so with anything else, you have to give grace where it’s due.

Hi, guys! I’m still alive!

Due to some familial issues, I’ve had to take a step back from my “hobbies” to be a support system. Frankly, I didn’t think anyone would really notice. But over the last month, I have received so many messages asking if I’m okay. To be honest, I’m not, and I think that has made the messages mean that much more.

People bash social media for what it can do, and yes there are very bad places on the internet. But I truly believe that we have built a positive space for women to go and feel inspired and supported, and I thank you guys for that, because ya girl needs it right now!

Eventually I’ll share more about what’s going on, because I think it’s an important conversation to be had, but for now, I’ll just share this fun picture and ask you guys to pray for me and pray for my family, be kind to others, and check on those special people in your life.
